New Beginnings Counseling Center has been providing mental health services to individuals, couples, and families in the Chattanooga area for over 30 years. NBCC was originally founded in 1984 as Southeastern Counseling. Southeastern Counseling merged with Greenleaf Hospital in 1991 to provide outpatient mental health services as Greenleaf Counseling. Greenleaf Counseling moved to the current location in 1995. In 1999, The providers at Greenleaf Counseling formed a professional limited liability company (PLLC) with the new name, New Beginnings Counseling Center.

 

In 2020, ownership transitioned to Brian Stoddard and Salida Brooks. As the second generation of leadership at NBCC, our goal is to build on the legacy of compassion and quality mental health care utilizing both traditional and contemporary approaches to instill hope and bring about change. We look forward to serving our community for generations to come!
